Position Description
Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or program from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers. Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, client services and various departments (e.g. marketing, computer services etc.). Defines project scope and objectives. Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on all matters. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. May provide project management guidance to project team. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.

To manage and successfully drive process improvement for Health Solutions business (MHS)]. To significantly improve their ability to meet customer expectations, reduce costs and increase profits.
Position Description
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage process improvement projects to produce tangible results for the business and customers.

- Consult with Director of Process Improvement (Champion) and MHS Business Owners to establish and meet financial and customer service goals

- Mentor and coach Greenbelts in project work, making them understand and use Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma tools necessary for a successful and timely completion of their projects, and develop robust process control plans to ensure sustained improvements

- Engage with MHS business owners, Director of Process Improvement to maintain open communication throughout the MHS Business Unit that the Blackbelt will be supporting, drive Six Sigma initiatives to successful completion, and translate business strategies and imperatives into project opportunities. Assist Director of Process Improvement, MHS business owners and MHS process owners with identifying, scoping, and financially justifying projects that align with the business strategic plan.

- Provide necessary training to Greenbelts and associates in the use of Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen (and other process improvement) tools and methodology.

- Act as change agent to foster a customer centric quality culture throughout the organization and drive measurable business process improvements

- Support customer engagements

- Ability to run high-profile, complex projects.


Requirements

Minimum Requirements

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization.

- Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills.

- Management experience preferred

- Strong project management skills

- Ability to travel at least 25%.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

- PC skills: Proficient in Minitab and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio)

- Financial acumen: ability to calculate cost benefit analysis and ROI, and help Blackbelts identify financial savings. Must be able to build business case from listening to senior leaders.

- Ability to mine data is preferred.
